In the Liturgy and Worship
8:30 Adaptive Godly Play in the Nave: During the 8:30 liturgy, children participate in an interactive Godly Play lesson within the liturgy and afterward are invited, along with their families, into the children’s chapel space—a welcoming, age appropriate area in the nave, allowing children to work with materials from the morning’s lesson.
10:30 Children’s Chapel: Every Sunday, children ages 3 through 2nd grade are invited to join their peers and adult leaders in Children’s Chapel during the liturgy of the Word. This 30 minute chapel within the 10:30 liturgy allows young children to enjoy an age appropriate reading of the lessons of the day and to reflect on those lessons in a group setting. We sing, pray, and learn together and then return to the nave just before the Peace.
Children and Family Formation
In this season of parish life we recognize that many families desire to stay together while on campus and also want to know how to integrate spiritual formation into home life. A variety of seasonal formation offerings occur throughout the year.
Faithful Families: For children, youth, and adults who are helping to raise them. This inter-generational offering covers everything from liturgical seasons to celebrations and traditions within families.
Way of Love for Families: The Way of Love follows seven practices that help us grow deeper in our relationship with God, Jesus, and our neighbors as we strive to live our baptismal promises. The Way of Love for Families seasonal offering invites families to slow down, revisions and reshape the pattern and rhythm of daily life and find joy at the center.
